Novel and Innovative Technological Trends in Biomass Volarisation

This thematic issue will encompass a collection of a series of outstanding research articles from various scientific groups presenting their investigations on modern trends and technologies involved in the volarization of biomass, improving biomass conversion processes to develop biomass-based valuable products benefiting current demand and need of the society for better living of humankind. This includes all types of biomass and the provision of products, raw materials and energy.

The focus of this thematic issue is on original research papers with novel findings and new results meetings the highest scientific standards in the research field outlined above. Review papers are typically rejected. They are only exceptionally accepted if they are tackling a clearly new question and / or providing new and in-depth insights into a specific topic.
