International Journal of Steel Structures - About the Society

Korean Society of Steel Construction (KSSC) was founded in June, 1989, to promote the use of structural steel and to improve technologies related to steel construction. Since then, KSSC has contributed to the advance of steel construction technology and professional activities through manufacturing and technological research, standardizations, publications, international cooperation and information exchange by utilizing the expertise of its member companies and scholarly members. Accordingly, KSSC has played a key role in enhancing the use of structural steel and solving problems common in the steel industries with diverse backgrounds, within the field of production, design, fabrication and construction of steel structures.
