Abstract:

Interdisciplinary research allows the academicians and practitioners to create a theoretical framework that may give insights into the system and associated attributes like economics, global constraints, environment, social and ethical issues, political, institutional policies, etc. This type of robust and intelligent framework based on Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality and other similar technologies for efficient computation has been used in several disciplines and has applications in areas like the software reliability, quality assurance, health system, medicines, distance education, public, transportation, travels, tourism, hospitability, and many other related systems. This Special Issue will be a collection of the extended version of the selected papers presented at the International Conference on Advancement in Interdisciplinary Research to be held on July 24-26, 2020. The conference is jointly organized by Forum for Interdisciplinary Research in Mathematical Sciences and Beena Mahavidyalaya, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

These topics fits the aim and scope of the journal as it provides modeling and analysis of engineering system and is based on many collaborative approaches of heterogeneous technologies, cross-disciplinary techniques, tools and is associated with attributes such as quality, safety, and reliability.

The recent unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19 has forced the research organizations and academicians to think about the importance of interdisciplinary research that could yield answers/solutions to many crucial problems that exist in the society and industry. The special issue aims to focus on the interdisciplinary applications of computational techniques and mathematical models to address different societal and industrial issues and challenges.

Based on the above discussion and trying to understand the promising opportunities for computational techniques and mathematical models to facilitate interdisciplinary research, we are proposing a special issue. Contributors are requested to submit theoretical papers and innovative methodologies, case study or technical reports in the following sub topics:

Software quality measures how well the software is designed, and how well the software conforms to that design. Machine learning is based on the idea that machines should be able to learn and adapt through experiences. Artificial Intelligence refers to a broader idea where machines can execute tasks smartly. Artificial Intelligence applies machine learning, deep learning, and other techniques to solve actual problems.

Augmented reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) bridges the gap between the digital and physical worlds. AR dramatically expands the ways our devices can help with everyday activities like searching for information, shopping, and expressing yourself. VR lets us experience what it's like to go anywhere from the front row of a concert to distant space.

This special issue will provide state-of-art development in the area of interdisciplinary research using advanced computational techniques and mathematical models to deal with complex real-world problems.
