The special edition shall provide a state of the art approach to review the theme of reconstruction and rehabilitation of maxillofacial defects created as a result of craniomaxillofacial trauma, Ablative surgery due to malignancy, benign tumors and pathology like mucormycosis, osteomyelitis, osteoradionecrosis and other craniofacial deformities. The issue will accommodate articles related to patient specific implants, virtual surgical planning, 3D printing and current methods of reconstruction and rehabilitation as well. 

The proposed issue intends to publish articles in the form of clinical papers, randomised control trials, original studies, comparative studies, invited reviews, case series and technical notes. 

The journal will strictly follow the usual process of peer review for the special edition as well.
