Aims and scope

Fisheries Science is an international journal published by the Japanese Society of Fisheries Science (JSFS), established in 1932. The journal seeks to contribute to the advancement and promotion of fisheries science to international readers through the publication of basic and applied research articles in a broad range of subject areas relevant to fisheries science, including fisheries, biology, aquaculture, environment, chemistry and biochemistry, food science and technology, and social science. All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two experts in the field of the submitted paper. Fisheries Science is published six times annually and includes more than 100 articles per volume.
