Research & Integration of Instructional Technology
Journal of Computing in Higher Education (JCHE) contributes to our understanding of the design, development, and implementation of instructional processes and technologies in higher education. JCHE publishes original research, literature reviews, implementation and evaluation studies, and theoretical, conceptual, and policy papers that provide perspectives on instructional technology’s role in improving access, affordability, and outcomes of postsecondary education. Priority is given to well-documented original papers that demonstrate a strong grounding in learning theory and/or rigorous educational research design.

Special Issue on Redefining the Learning process through Educational and Technological Innovations
In recent years, lots of works have been proposed by the community in the field of EDS, covering important trends such as deep learning applied to educational data, multimodal educational data fusion, predictive model generalization, interpretability and transferability, just to mention some. This special issue is precisely intended to collect some of the most important works recently conducted in the field of EDS, as long as they represent a major contribution to the present and future of this discipline.
This special issue/series seeks high-quality manuscripts on replication studies. Articles may include, but are not limited to replication studies in higher education involving instructional technology. These replication studies should demonstrate a strong grounding in learning and instructional theory and rigorous educational research design, in addition to established guidelines and frameworks for designing the replication study.
