Arabian Journal of Geosciences - Special Issue

Diagenesis and reservoir quality prediction within a sequence stratigraphy

This special issue will be based on a set of peer-reviewed case study research articles that will be authored by researchers working on the diagenesis and reservoir quality prediction within a sequence stratigraphy. Research articles are expected to cover the diagenesis and reservoir quality prediction in a sequence stratigraphy of various siliciclastic and carbonate depositional system including but not limited to fluvial, shallow marine, delta, deep marine, aeolian, lacustrine, and glacial and carbonate platforms of different ages from all over the world. The anticipated contribution of this special issue will interest readers from academic, research, and industrial sectors who are working closely in the field of sedimentology, sedimentary petrology, sequence stratigraphy, petrophysics, and petroleum earth scientists. The contribution of this special issue will ultimately help the works in oil industry to develop better strategies during exploration, production, and enhanced recovery and potential sites for carbon dioxide capture and storage.
