We are pleased to announce that a special issue of Sugar Tech journal (Springer Nature), will be published in March-April, 2022 ( Volume 24 Issue 2). The theme of this special issue is Innovation for Sustainability of the Sugar Agro-Industry. Relevant review articles and research papers, highlighting the innovation and sustainability issues related to sugar crops based agro-industries (sugarcane, sugar beet, Palms, Stevia, Maple etc.) encompassing novel production, processing, value addition technologies; sugar-bioenergy matrix under changing scenario; new norm for the sugar-agro industry and related topics will be the major features of this issue.
