Each year AAPS recognizes outstanding contributions to original research published in three of its journals: Pharmaceutical Research, AAPS PharmSciTech, and The AAPS Journal. The Outstanding Manuscript Awards are selected by each journal’s chief editor and are based on a manuscript published in the respective journal that is deemed to have had a high impact on the pharmaceutical sciences community.
For AAPS PharmSciTech, this award was given to Peter Mack, Ph.D., AstraZeneca (as Corresponding Author; Co-authors are Amber Doty, Jon Schroeder, Kou Vang, Mark Sommerville, Ph.D., Mervin Taylor, Brad Flynn, and David Lechuga-Ballesteros, Ph.D.) for the article “Drug Delivery from an Innovative LAMA/LABA Co-suspension Delivery Technology Fixed-Dose Combination MDI: Evidence of Consistency, Robustness, and Reliability
AAPS Open is proud to announce new Editor-in-Chief Dr. Andrea Allmendinger. Dr. Allmendinger obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Basel and joined the Pharmaceutical Development department of Roche/Genentech in Basel in 2013, where she is responsible for formulation and process development for clinical Phase I-III projects and commercial transfer activities for both large molecules and for synthetic drugs.
