Microgravity Science and Technology - 27th ELGRA Biennial Symposium & General Assembly

We look forward to welcoming many of you back in person for the 27th ELGRA Biennial Symposium & General Assembly (this opens in a new tab), taking place September 6–9th 2022 in Lisbon. We wish to draw your attention to the abstract submission opened since 29th April 2022. In 2022, ELGRA celebrates its Symposium in Lisbon, which could not take place in 2021 due to the health situation. Therefore, the 2022 Symposium will be the first chance to meet after the successful 2019 Symposium in Granada. The 2022 Symposium will be a great opportunity to discuss the research carried out for the last 3 years and to design plans for the coming years.

A selection of the presented papers will be published in a special issue (this opens in a new tab) of Microgravity Science and Technology. 

Important dates & deadlines

The conference will take place from 6th to 9th September. 

  • April 29th: Abstract submmission open
  • April 29th: Registration open
  • May 29th: Abstract submission deadline
  • June 29th: Notification of acceptance/revision to authors
  • July 08th: Early bird registration fee deadline.

European Low Gravity Research Association (ELGRA)

The European Low Gravity Research Association (ELGRA) is a non-profit international society devoted to the promotion of scientific research under various gravity conditions in Europe. The organization, established in 1979, provides a networking platform for all scientists interested in life and physical sciences and technology in space or on ground. ELGRA aims at representing and strengthening the scientific community of gravity-related research and helping young scientists and engineers get involved in low- and hyper-gravity research through educational programs.
