Special Section
This journal also publishes special/guest-edited sections. The peer review process for these articles is the same as the peer review process of the journal in general. The proposer of the special section (or leading guest editor) should be a scientist with high global recognition in their field, who has either been approved by the JMST editorial board or has published multiple papers in JMST. Additionally, if the guest editor(s) authors an article in their special section, they will not handle the peer review process.
