Aims and scope

Nanobiotechnology Reports is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes interdisciplinary research in the fields of nanoscience and nanobiotechnology. The journal covers a wide range of topics, from basic research to articles describing technological processes and applications of nanotechnology, especially at the interface with biology. The journal welcomes original articles and reviews that meet the highest scientific quality standards in a wide range of nanotechnology-related fields, including energy, manufacturing, medicine, information technology, agriculture, environmental technologies, cultural heritage, etc. Research areas covered in the journal: self-organizing structures and nanoassemblies; nanostructures, including nanotubes; functional and structural nanomaterials; polymeric, bioorganic, and hybrid nanomaterials; devices and products based on nanomaterials and nanotechnology; nanobiology, genetics, and omics technologies; nanobiomedicine and nanopharmaceutics; nanoelectronics and neuromorphic computing systems; neurocognitive systems and technologies; nanophotonics; application of the nanotechnology and natural science methods in a study of cultural heritage items; metrology, standardization, and monitoring  in nanotechnology. The journal has the aim of becoming an international publication and accepts manuscripts from all countries. The peer review policy of the journal is independent of the manuscript source, ensuring a fair and unbiased evaluation process for all submissions.
