Radiological Physics and Technology - Awards

Doi Awards (for outstanding articles)

The Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT) and the Japan Society of Medical Physics (JSMP) established the Doi Award in 2008, to be given to the best article in each of three selection categories: Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, annually. The Doi Award has been named in view of Professor Kunio Doi’s notable contributions to medical imaging and computer-aided diagnosis while he was Professor of Radiology at the University of Chicago for 40 years, and also as the first Editor-in-Chief of this journal.
