At a ceremony held on September 15th during the Southern Criminal Justice Association's annual conference, the prize for 2022 American Journal of Criminal Justice Article of the Year was awarded to Eric Jardine (this opens in a new tab) for "Policing the Cybercrime Script of Darknet Drug Markets: Methods of Effective Law Enforcement Intervention (this opens in a new tab)."

A fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), Eric Jardine is an assistant professor of political science at Virginia Tech. 

The article will be free for all readers to access for 8 weeks, beginning on the 3rd of October.
