Clinical and Translational Oncology - Open for submissions: Adaptive Therapy

New Content Item

Despite the very promising results of systemic therapy for the majority of malignant diseases, there remain quite a number of malignancies that cannot be cured, i.e. the remission of the disease is transient. In these circumstances, the main goal of treatment is to prolong life as long as possible with a minimum reduction in quality. To reach this goal, treatment has to be adapted continuously according to the dynamic of the tumor growth and the performance status of the patient. To this end, alternative systemic treatment, radiotherapy, supportive therapy and palliative treatment options will come into effect. In this collection we include key research published in the journals.
