  • COVID-19 and impact on peer review

As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times.  Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.

  • Endocrine Reports from the COVID-19 Frontline

To help keep our readers up-to-date on research and analysis related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created this collection of articles and other resources published in Endocrine.

  • Call for papers focusing on the COVID-19 outbreak and endocrine-diabetes-metabolic disease

The pandemic COVID-19 is significantly affecting the general population and vulnerable people with endocrine, diabetic, and metabolic disease. We encourage COVID-19-related research submissions regarding research on the relationship between COVID-19 and endocrine disorders as well as on the experience of diabetic and endocrine patients subject to lockdown and social distancing guidelines. We will expedite the publication of accepted manuscripts on these topics, which Springer Nature is making free-to-access for the duration of the WHO Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
