Announcing the inaugural Computational Research Integrity Conference 2021 (CRI-CONF 2021)

When: March 23 - 25, 2021
Where: Virtual
Registration or contribution submission:

This conference's goal is to bring together research integrity officers, scientists, editors, publishers, and computer scientists to discuss scientific misconduct investigations and the opportunities and current limitations of computational methods for flagging potential scientific misconduct automatically. We hope that attendees will leave this conference with a clearer sense of the constraints and opportunities of each others' approaches.

If you work in research integrity, image/video forensics, plagiarism, educational aspects of research integrity, or any field related to research integrity and computational methods, this conference is for you. If you regularly attend the World Conference on Research Integrity (, postponed for next year), you might be interested in coming as well.

We also have a small number of slots for contributed presentations. Consider submitting your extended abstract:

Submission deadline: March 1, 2021
Acceptance notification: March 8, 2021
Registration deadline for accepted work: March 15, 2021
