Journal of Central South University (JCSU in short, CN 43-1516/TB, ISSN 2095-2899), is indexed by SCI, Scopus, Google Scholar, EI, and CNKI. Its SCI impact factor is 4.4 in 2022 (Q1). The Journal mainly publishes original academic papers that represent the latest research achievements in such fields as materials science and engineering, metallurgical science and engineering, mineral processing, mining engineering, chemical engineering, and transportation engineering. The Journal also publishes review articles on the latest trends in the development and their applications in these fields. Recruitment requirements

1) Under the age of 45;

2) Have published more than 5 papers in prestigious journals in one’s field as the first author or corresponding author;

3) Familiar with the publication process of journals;

4) Research interests in materials science and engineering, metallurgical science and engineering, mineral processing, mining engineering, chemical engineering, and transportation engineering.

 Rights of Youth Editorial Committee Member

1) An employment certificate of the youth editorial committee of JCSU approved by the Editor-in-Chief;

2) The accepted manuscript submitted or recommended by the youth editorial committee member can be published in priority.

3) The youth editorial committee member can organize special issues in the name of JCSU;

4) Using the youth editorial committee member title when attending academic activities.

5) Outstanding contributors may be considered for inclusion in the editorial committee member of the JCSU.

Obligations of youth editorial committee member

1) Submit at least one paper as the first author or corresponding author to JCSU within the employment period;  

2) Complete the peer review work assigned.

3) Advertising JCSU when attending academic activities;

4) Attend the regular Youth Editorial Committee meetings of JCSU.
