Journal of Central South University - Recruitment of the second Youth Editorial Committee Member of Journal of Central South University

Journal of Central South University (JCSU in short, CN 43-1516/TB，ISSN 2095-2899), is indexed by SCI, Scopus, Google Scholar, EI, CNKI. Its SCI impact factor is 1.716 in 2020. It also has been selected as “the Excellence Action Plan of China’s Scientific Journals”. The Journal mainly publishes original academic papers which represent the latest research achievements in such fields as materials science and engineering, metallurgical science and engineering, mineral processing, geology and mining, chemical engineering, and mechanical, electronic and information engineering. The Journal also publishes review articles on the latest trends in the development and their applications in these fields. Ⅰ Recruitment requirements

1) Under the age of 45;

2) Have published more than 10 papers in prestigious journals in one’s field as the first author or corresponding author;

3) Concerned about the development of the journal and with a correct academic attitude;

4) Have time and energy to work for the journal.

Ⅱ Rights of youth editorial committee member

1) An employment certificate of the youth editorial committee of JCSU is issued for one term of two years;

2) Outstanding contributors or three-consecutive-term members may be considered for inclusion in the editorial committee member of the Journal.

Ⅲ Obligations of youth editorial committee member

1) Actively submit to JCSU, and at least one paper as the first author or corresponding author should be published in JCSU within the employment period;  

2) Actively contribute to the development and promotion of JCSU;

3) Actively promote JCSU when attending academic conferences;

5) Actively recommend, and review articles for the Journal;

6) Actively attend academic conferences sponsored or co-organized by the Journal;

7) Attend the regular meetings of the Youth Editorial Committee of JCSU.
