Chinese Geographical Science - Call for Papers: Environmental Geography
This new Special Issue from Chinese Geographical Science, ‘Environmental Geography’, strives to capture new discovery of environmental science with distinctive geographical features. The Special Issue is seeking high-quality research articles on, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Researches on environmental pollution including traditional issue and emerging pollutants, ecological protection, future changes in water, carbon, and nitrogen cycling, on the regional and global scales;
- Innovative biogeochemical studies in glacier, snow and ice, forest, river valley, sand dust, grassland, farmland, and coastal wetlands;
- Novel methods in solving problems of environmental geography, including remote sensing, satellite observation, and advanced modeling studies in the area of environmental geography.

Dr. Yuepeng Pan now is a professor at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current research is directed toward tracking atmospheric processing and deposition of air pollutants and their impacts on visibility degradation and ecosystem health.

Dr. Dianming Wu now is a professor at the School of Geographic Sciences, East China Normal University. His research focuses on understanding the feedbacks and interactions between biosphere and atmosphere. Currently he is working on soil nitrogen cycling and their environmental effects.

Dr. Guofeng Shen now is an Assistant Professor at Peking University. His research interests and experiences are in sustainable household energy and environment, largely focusing on fates, impacts and controls of hazardous pollutants produced from indoor solid fuel use that is an important indicator of sustainable development.
