Special Issue Information

The scope of this special issue is to provide a stage for both of control theorists and the practitioners in the field of multiagent-based system modeling and control to present new results and exchange challenging problems including molecular systems, networked system and mean field game etc. Especially, in the last decade, the concept of a molecular system such as “molecular robot” has emerged as a symbolic milestone in the cross-cutting research field spanning nanotechnology, molecular computing, and robotics, and provides us with a fully new system from the perspective of control theory. Since molecular agents can usually be synthesized in large quantities by chemical synthesis, research on swarm robots and swarm intelligence has been also actively conducted. The attention of this special issue will focus on this new field, but the topic is not limited to this issue. Topics include but not limited to

  • Molecular systems
  • Bio-medical systems
  • Mean field games
  • Connected vehicles and control
  • Autonomous robot and control
  • Networked sensors and control
