Machine Intelligence Research - Congratulations to Prof. Tieniu Tan (EiC of MIR): Winner of the 2022 King-Sun Fu Prize

Professor Tieniu Tan, Editor-in-Chief of Machine Intelligence Research (MIR), from the Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences was awarded the 2022 King-Sun Fu Prize, the highest honor in the field of Pattern Recognition. He is the first researcher from outside North America and Europe to win the prize since 1988.

In honor of the memory of Professor King-Sun Fu, the International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR) gives the biennial King-Sun Fu Prize to a living person in the recognition of an outstanding technical contribution to the field of pattern recognition.
