Potato Research - Research on Eastern African Seed Systems

Seed quality is a major constraint in potato production in Eastern Africa. The majority of the seed planted by smallholder farmers is from informal sources. Nevertheless, there is great interest in improving seed systems as demonstrated by the large number of papers on this topic published in Potato Research in recent years.
