A journal devoted to research at the interface of the life and mathematical sciences

Publishing model:

Bulletin of Mathematical Biology - Lee Segel Prizes

Lee Segel Prizes

The Bulletin of Mathematical Biology awards a series of prizes, funded by Springer, linked to papers published in the journal.

There are two prize categories:

- Prize of $1,000 for the best original research student paper (awarded every two years)

- Prize of $1,500 for the best original research paper (awarded every two years)

- Prize of $4,000 for the best review paper (awarded every three years).

It is important when a paper is submitted that the authors indicate if the first author is a student. We would also like referees to indicate if they feel that a paper they are reviewing should be considered for a prize.

Please contact bmb@maths.ox.ac.uk if you require further information regarding the prizes.
