Journal of Computer Virology and Hacking Techniques - Call for Papers: Special Issue on Russian Research in Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity

We invite authors representing the Russian Federation, BRICS, Kazakhstan to submit novel original papers on cybersecurity for free publication in the special issue “Russian Research in Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity” of Journal of Computer Virology and Hacking Techniques (JICV). The journal is published by the international publishing house Springer and is included in the first quartile (Q1) of Scopus.
Scope
This special issue is devoted to fundamental and applied problems of artificial intelligence for cybersecurity.
Submission and publication process
- Authors submit the request for publication (in Russian) via the e-mail: espleshakova@fa.ru (this opens in a new tab)
The request for publication must include the authors, title, and abstract with the precise summary of the main results (up to 1 А4 page)
- If the request is approved, authors submit their papers (in English) via the official submission portal (EM-portal): https://www.editorialmanager.com/jicv/default.aspx (this opens in a new tab)

- 1 to 3 review iterations depending on the initial quality of the paper. Communication among the participants (authors, reviewers, editors) is provided by the EM portal.
- Accepted papers are published with DOI (Springer Online First) on the journal web-site.
Requirements for the manuscript
- Formatting meets the requirements specified in the instructions for authors:
- The topic deals with artificial intelligence for cybersecurity
- Original and novel results
- Authors are from Russia, BRICS, Kazakhstan
- English language
- Clearly outlined objectives, results and conclusion, comprehensive references
- The form, structure and quality of written English must meet international academic standards
- Recommended page count: 10-15 pages

- Request for publication (via email) and notification of request acceptance: September 30, 2022
- Open for submissions: November 2022 (exact date to be determined and posted later)
- Deadline for submissions: December 31, 2022
- Review process: 2 to 4 months after submission
- Publication of the issue: 2023
