Call for Papers: Health, it matters: Responsible Mission for Landscape and Ecological Engineering

Objective:

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many losses of our lives, and forced us to reconsider our lives, our relationship with the environment, and the health of both. Landscape and Ecological Engineering (LAEE) publish new research in environmental conservation, management, and restoration to contribute to the development of related disciplines and human communities living in harmony with the natural environment. The current COVID-19 and its caused Landscape and Ecological Engineering related fields to rethink how we rely on and rebuild our living environments.

The special issue titled “Health, it Matters: Responsible Mission for Landscape and Ecological Engineering” aims to publish significant papers presented at The 11th ICLEE international conference and an open call for the related great papers. The special issue will contribute LAEE in publishing the works that Landscape and Ecological Engineering have multiple roles in environmental and human health.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Urban ecological health and sustainable landscape design
  • Green infrastructure and human wellbeing
  • Urban ecosystem management for sustainability
  • Ecosystem services and land use planning
  • Ecological restoration for the degraded area
  • Novel technology and scientific methods for ecological planning 
  • Rural ecology and forest conservation
  • Rural tourism and outdoor recreation

Manuscripts should be submitted through the Editorial Manager portal.

In Editorial Manager, please select “Special Feature” as the article type, and please specify in the cover letter that the submission is for the special feature “Health, it Matters: Responsible Mission for Landscape and Ecological Engineering”.


Submission deadline: October 31, 2022

Expected publication: Volume 19 issue 2 (April 2023 issue)
