  • COVID-19 and impact on peer review

    As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times.  Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.


    We call for papers on Wetlands in Drylands and on Mosquito Control and Wetland Management to be published in Wetlands Ecology and Management.  Find out more.

  • Abstract for practitioners

    Springer is working closely with Conservation Evidence which aims to make conservation management more effective through the dissemination of information to practitioners. Authors are invited to submit an additional abstract for ConservationEvidence if they feel that their paper is of relevance to the intitiative.

    Professor Eric Wolanski - one of the Main Editors of Wetlands Ecology and Management - received a great scientific honour, being awarded a Doctorate of Science honoris causa from the University of Hull, in the United Kingdom on January 20, 2017.
