Guidelines for Special Issue proposals

To be considered for a special issue, please email your proposal to the Editor-in-Chief. The proposal should contain the following information:

  1. Special Issue Title
  2. Guest Editors, Authors’ and Discussant information (Names, Titles, Affiliations, Short bio, Contact Information)
  3. Proposed papers (Titles, Authors with affiliations, abstracts for each paper) 
    - Up to six papers, including introduction/discussion
  4. Cover Letter addressing the following issues:
    - Fit with scope and aims of Instructional Science
    - Expected novel contribution to the field
    - Rationale for this special issue and coherence between proposed papers
  5. Timeline

Proposals for special issues are collected by March 1 and October 1 of each year.
