Review of Industrial Organization - Call for Papers: 250th Anniversary of 'The Wealth of Nations'
The Review of Industrial Organization is planning a special issue to mark the 250th anniversary of the publication of The Wealth of Nations. If you have a paper on one of the important IO-related themes of the book such as collusion or the division of the labor that you anticipate will be completed by June 2025, you can send a 1-2 page abstract to Nicolas Ziebarth (who will be the guest editor of this issue) at nlz0003@auburn.edu (this opens in a new tab), with cc to Bob Feinberg at feinber@american.edu (this opens in a new tab).
We are particularly interested in papers that have a historical angle along with implications for policy today. We will consider all types of papers, both theoretical and empirical, that fit the broad theme. We will be accepting abstracts through the end of September 2024; papers generated from accepted abstracts will be refereed by the issue editor and authors of the other papers in the special issue.
