Public Choice - Springer honors William F. Shughart II and welcomes Peter T. Leeson

It is our privilege to recognize and appreciate Bill Shughart’s service to Public Choice and the community of researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and practitioners, as Editor-in-Chief of the journal for nearly two decades.  Bill’s integrity, dedication, and advocacy have reinforced the journal as a home for the most insightful and impactful ideas in the field.  And it is with great pleasure that we announce Pete Leeson as Editor-in-Chief from January 1, 2023.   As an Associate Editor of Public Choice for over ten years, Pete has established a reputation as one of the most prominent scholars in the field, and is ideally suited to continue building the journal’s influence and legacy.
