We welcome submissions which deal with educational research, policy and practice, within a comparative perspective. The general manuscript guidelines are addressed here.

Prospects has been published for over 40 years. In that time, its various editors have gradually developed their own somewhat unique style sheet, based most recently on the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

For editors and reviewers to accurately assess the work presented in your manuscript you need to ensure the English language is of sufficient quality to be understood.

The IBE was established in 1925, as a private, non-governmental organisation, by leading Swiss educators to provide intellectual leadership and to promote international cooperation in education.
