An International Journal on Plant-Soil Relationships
Plant and Soil publishes original papers and review articles exploring the interface of plant biology and soil sciences, and that enhance our mechanistic understanding of plant-soil interactions. This includes both fundamental and applied aspects of mineral nutrition, plant-water relations, symbiotic and pathogenic plant-microbe interactions, root anatomy and morphology, soil biology, ecology, agrochemistry and agrophysics. Articles discussing a major molecular or mathematical component also fall within the scope of the journal. All contributions appear in the English language.
The Editor-in-Chief is Hans Lambers, University of Western Australia, Crawley, Australia.
Why publish with us
This special issue aims to gather studies on responses of plant-soil interaction to atmospheric circulation variations while focusing on interactions among plant, microbe and soil
Submission Deadline: 31 October 2023 | Expected 2024
This Special Issue will bring together a collection of reviews and research papers that will focus on uncovering the plant and soil mechanisms by which crop rotations benefit farming systems.
Submission Deadline: 30 September 2023 | Expected 2024
This special issue aims to gather studies that contribute to the mechanistic understanding of how intercropping affects ecosystem functioning and agricultural sustainability. We welcome original research, reviews, methods, opinions, and meta-analysis articles.
