- Active and passive nonlinear meta-material/structures
- Computational and analysis methods pertinent to strongly nonlinear meta-material/structures such as bandgap calculations, wave propagation and vibration analysis
- New wave phenomena or wave manipulation methods enabled by nonlinear metamaterials
- Mechanisms underpinning nonlinear wave propagation and manipulation in finite and infinite models
- Design methods with strong nonlinearity and superior performance
- Application cases of nonlinear metamaterials or meta-devices in nonlinear media
