Mycopathologia - Featuring new Collection: Candida & Candidiasis

Much is known about the ‘big four’ of candidiasis causing species: Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, Candida tropicalis, and Candida parapsilosis, but the less common but emerging Candida species are not well-covered. 

We welcome all submissions for this special collection of Mycopathologia. We encourage a focus on epidemiology, nomenclatural and taxonomical issues, improved Candida diagnostics, antifungal susceptibility and resistance mechanisms, and novel therapy.
