Mathematical Physics, Analysis and Geometry - MPAG launches a new section devoted to Geometry!

MPAG welcomes the new co-EiCs of the Geometry section, Benoit Charbonneau and Martin Speight

Benoit Charbonneau (this opens in a new tab) is Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo (Canada) in the Department of Pure Mathematics and is cross-appointed to the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He is an Affiliate of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.

He is working in the field of gauge theory. He is interested in Yang-Mills instantons, monopoles and moduli spaces. He has also collaborated with soft-matter scientists in the area of glass transition.

Martin Speight (this opens in a new tab) is Professor of Mathematics in the School of Mathematics of the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). He is a mathematical physicist specializing in applications of differential geometry to elementary particle physics and condensed matter systems.
