Mathematical Physics, Analysis and Geometry - MPAG welcomes the new co-EiC of the Probability Theory and Statistical Physics section, Cédric Bernardin!

Cédric Bernardin, Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Université Côte d'Azur, is working in the field of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics with overall aim to understand how macroscopic behavior arises from microscopic stochastic interacting particle systems. In particular, he is interested in hydrodynamic limits, anomalous fluctuations, large deviations and more recently in properties of quantum trajectories.
