Call for Papers: Digitization of Organizations: Towards a New Paradigm of Real-Time Systems (Compse 2020)
Today, companies are immersed in a process of digital transformation that has come to be part of a new operating paradigm. Business structures must be flexible and accelerate their evolution to digitize all their activities. A more horizontal structure is necessary, which provides a fluidity and adaptability that allows generating a rapid response to constant and increasingly rapid changes This context of change forces companies and organizations to rethink their internal and business processes. This situation affects all types of companies, whether small, medium or large, with a national or international presence. The digital transformation process is a global and universal process. Emerging techniques and technologies such as IoT, Big Data, and Deep Learning can create greater efficiency, meaning, and insight in businesses and in society at large. In short, it is a great opportunity for companies to respond to competitiveness challenges.
For these reasons, this special volume encourages the participation of experts in related areas for the development of systems, algorithms, optimization methods, concepts and computer interfaces that allow the development of digital twins in various sectors such as manufacturing, chains supply, health systems and others.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following scope:

Prof. Igor Litvinchev
Igor Litvinchev received his M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Fizteh), Ph.D. and Dr. Sci. (Habilitation) degrees in systems modeling and optimization from Computing Centre, Russian Academy of Sciences (CCRAS), Moscow. He had visiting positions at universities in Brazil, Mexico, and Norway, as well as positions at various universities and research centers in Russia. He is currently a Professor at Nuevo Leon State University (UANL), Mexico and a Leading Mathematician at CCRAS, Russia. His research focuses on large-scale systems modeling, optimization, and control. He is an author/editor of 7 books published by editorials Kluwer, Springer and Nauka, published 20 book chapters and more than 80 journal papers. He was a coordinator (principal investigator) for more than 30 research projects funded by NATO Scientific Affairs Division and European Community; CNPq and FAPESP (Brasil); CONACYT, PROMEP and PAICYT (Mexico); ISF(USA), RFBR (Russia), BRFBR (Belarus). Dr. Litvinchev is a member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and Mexican Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Tatiana Romanova
Professor Tatiana Romanova received his M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE), Ukraine; Ph.D. and Dr.Sci. (Habilitation) in Mathematical Modeling and Computational Methods from the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev. She is a principal researcher at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Optimal Design at the Institute for Mechanical Engineering Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and professor at the chair of Applied Mathematics and the chair of Systems Engineering at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. She is an author of numerous research papers in highly ranked international journals, such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Global Optimization, and coauthor of 6 books of Springer Optimization Series. His research focuses on the development of geometric tools, mathematical models and optimization algorithms for solving layout, packing, cutting and covering problems. Her research was supported by grants from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (GIO), STCU, NSFU, Volkswagen Foundation. She was invited to give lectures on the phi-function technique at universities of Dresden (Germany), Cardiff (Wales), Porto (Portugal), Southampton (UK), Monterrey (Mexico). She is a member of ESICUP, EWG EURO, OPTISAD.
