The Machine Learning journal invites submissions on the IFCS 2022 special issue. The background of the Special Issue is on classification. Specifically, the scope of the special issue will be on classification principles and methods, general and transdisciplinary, but also connected to various specific disciplines such as, but not limited to, biological taxonomy, pattern recognition in artificial intelligence and market segmentation. Mathematical and statistical methods for data analysis are a core interest. This comprises methodologies for supervised and unsupervised classification (cluster analysis), analysis of similarity, and, more generally, methodologies for making sense of data and their applications.

Submit manuscripts to: http://mach.edmgr.com. Select “SI: IFCS 2022” as the article type. Papers must be prepared in accordance with the Journal guidelines: https://www.springer.com/journal/10994. All papers will be reviewed as soon as they are received, following standard reviewing procedures for the Journal. An article is submitted to the “IFCS 2022- Classification and Data Science in the Digital Age” special issue by choosing "S.I. : IFCS 2022" as the article type.
