Marginalized and system-involved youth, including youth experiencing homelessness and youth involved with the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems, engage in sexual risk behaviors at higher rates and are at increased risk for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections than their general population peers. Yet, the literature on how to sensitively address the sexual and reproductive health needs of these youth is limited.
This special issue will feature empirical articles that address the sexual and reproductive health needs of marginalized and system-involved youth.
Submission Deadline: March 1, 2021
Guest Editors: Dr. Elizabeth Aparicio, Dr. Amy Dworsky, Dr. Nadine Finnigan-Carr
