Journal of Statistical Physics - Journal of Statistical Physics welcomes the new co-Editor-in-chief, Yariv Kafri!

Yariv Kafri is a Professor of Physics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and holds the Lidow chair in solid-state physics. His general research area is Statistical Physics with an emphasis on non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. In recent years his work has focused on large deviations and active systems. Yariv received his PhD in Physics from the Weizmann Institute Science in 2001. Before moving to the Technion, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and the Curie Institute.
Since October 2023, he has been serving as co-Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Statistical Physics.
