This special issue is devoted, but not restricted, to the papers presented at the French German Portuguese Conference on Optimization held in Porto, Portugal, May 3 – 6, 2022.

We welcome original research works with a clear, novel scientific contribution in theory, methods or applications in global optimization.

The papers must be in line with the scope of the Journal of Global Optimization - An International Journal Dealing with Theoretical and Computational Aspects of Seeking Global Optima and Their Applications in Science, Management and Engineering.

Submission Instructions

Authors should follow the Instructions for Authors of the Journal of Global Optimization and submit their high quality manuscript via Springer’s online Editorial Manager (www.editorialmanager.com/jogo (this opens in a new tab)) by January 31, 2023.

While submitting in Editorial Manager, please, make sure to choose SI: FGP22 as the Article Type in the Editorial Manager. Submissions are sent to reviewers as they arrive and papers accepted for publication are made electronically available via SpringerLink before the Special Issue is published.
