Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings - APAHC

Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers

Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings is the official journal of the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers (APAHC).

LATEST NEWS:

The Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings is now accepted by Medline/PubMed! Psychologists in academic health centers have special concerns and unique challenges. The Association of Psychologists in Academic Centers (APAHC) was established in 1982 to advocate for academic health center psychologists (teaching hospitals, medical schools, allied health schools, and VA medical centers).

APAHC provides a forum for psychologists who are faculty and/or staff members in academic health centers and other psychologists who support the purpose and mission of the Association. APAHC is Section VIII of Division 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) of the American Psychological Association. APAHC is also a member of the Council of Academic Societies of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). APAHC's dual affiliation, with psychology and with medicine, reflects its unique position among the panoply of psychology organizations.
