Authors

JGPS has been a forum for original research and discussion in the philosophy of science since the publication of its first volume in 1970. The journal’s scope encompasses both general philosophy of science and the specialized philosophies of particular areas of science (conceived broadly in the sense of the German term ‘Wissenschaft’), such as the philosophy of physics, the philosophy of chemistry, the philosophy of biology, the philosophy of the social sciences and economics, the philosophy of the engineering disciplines, and the philosophies of the humanities.

As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times. Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.
