Aims and scope

Journal of Applied Mechanics and Technical Physics is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, brief communications, and reviews focusing on theoretical, computational, and experimental studies of the fundamental and applied aspects of fluid and solid mechanics, technical physics, and applications of these areas in other branches of physics, such as the dynamics of multiphase media, the physics and mechanics of explosive processes, rheology, heat and mass transfer, new research methods, including new research facilities, instruments, and diagnostic tools for various media. The journal also welcomes manuscripts addressing new directions in continuum mechanics, such as biomechanics and applications of mechanics in medicine and sports. Previously focused on translation, Journal of Applied Mechanics and Technical Physics now has the aim to become an international publication and accepts manuscripts originally submitted in English from all countries, along with translated works. The peer review policy of the journal is independent of the manuscript source, ensuring a fair and unbiased evaluation process for all submissions.
