Special Issue of the Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics on the occasion of CIMPA Research School 2022: From Dynamics to Algebra and Representation Theory and Back.
Overview
We are pleased to announce an special issue upon the CIMPA Research School entitled “From Dynamics to Algebra and Representation Theory and Back”, to be held from 7 to 18 February 2022, in Florianopolis, Brazil. In the last couple of years, groupoids have become a key tool in studying the interaction between dynamics, algebras and combinatorics. In this framework, the school aims to provide various courses about groupoid convolution algebras and tensor categories.
Articles on areas in which progress will be-has been reported at the CIMPA School are the most appropriate. Authors who are interested in submitting a survey article are kindly asked to contact the guest editors in advance.
List of possible topics
Researchers are invited to submit papers broadly related to dynamics and algebra. Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Theory of representations of groups
- Leavitt path algebras
- Dynamics associated to graphs
- Groupoid convolution algebra
- Tensor categories

Paper submission deadline: March 1st, 2022
Revision submission deadline: October 1st, 2022
Notification of decision (approx.): December 1st, 2022
Individual accepted papers are made available online on the Springer website soon after acceptance; publication date of the print version will be determined when the entire collection is finalized.
