With deep sorrow we have learnt that on 26 January 2024 at the age of 82, Prof. Dr. Jiří Bičák, longtime member and former head of Charles University's Institute of Theoretical Physics as well as Associate Editor of the journal General Relativiy and Gravitation from 2007–2017, passed away.
