Geometriae Dedicata - Proceedings of the conference in honor of François Labourie 2022 (Groups, Geometry and Dynamics)

Guest Editors: Olivier Guichard (University of Strasbourg), Sara Maloni (University of Virginia), Jean-Marc Schlenker (University of Luxembourg)
Coordinating Editor: Richard Wentworth (University of Maryland)

The role of infinite discrete subgroups of Lie groups originated in Fuchsian equations and in crystallographic groups, and gradually grew as its arithmetical, ergodic, dynamical, and geometrical aspects developed over the years.

The objective of the conference was to present new and results, obtained in the last 2-3 years, involving the dynamical and geometrical facets of those groups, as well as relations to mathematical physics. This includes a systematic investigation of the generalization of Fuchsian groups, the study of the advanced structure of their moduli space coming from the thermodynamic formalism as well as the intertwinings of geometrical and analytical properties of space-times with their infinity. François Labourie has played a central role in these developments, and the conference celebrated his contributions on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

All those contributing to the conference will be invited to submit research and survey papers. All submissions will undergo a full refereeing process.

Deadline: July 1, 2023 (Submission to this collection is by invitation only.)

All papers must be submitted to the journal's submission system (this opens in a new tab).

Publication Date: Accepted papers will be made available online on the Springer website shortly after acceptance.
