This special issue is dedicated to promote scientific issues associated with design, safety, reliability and integrity of materials, structural mechanics, and structures. The special collection will focus on issues related with structural engineering and mechanics, structural integrity, durability, stability, safety, probabilistic approaches, mathematical problems, design, fluid-structure and soil-structure interactions, loading effects, fatigue, fracture mechanics, damage mechanics, analytical and numerical simulation, experimental observations, and other related areas. Invited manuscripts are expected from engineers, metallurgists, structural scientists, among others, allowing a very multidisciplinary discussion.
The articles for the special issue should be full length original articles of previously unpublished material, and will be subject to the usual peer review process of the Journal, coordinated by the Guest Editors and the Editor-in-Chief.
In order to complete the special volume in a timely manner, we request that the manuscripts for this special volume be submitted by June 30, 2021.
