Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal - Introducing the New Editor-In-Chief of Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal

Shih Yung Chou is a Professor of Management at Winston-Salem State University. Shih’s research primarily focuses on employees' extra-role behaviors in the organization, and his research has appeared in the Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Personnel Review, International Journal of Business Communication, Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal, Psychological Reports, Management Decision, among others. In 2014, Shih received a Literati Award - Highly Commended Paper Award from the Journal of Organizational Change Management published by Emerald Publishing. Shih also received a Literati Award – Outstanding Paper Award from the International Journal of Organization Theory and Behavior published by Emerald Publishing in 2023. Shih received his Ph.D. in Business Administration and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Tunghai University in Taiwan.

As a new Editor-in-Chief of Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal (ERRJ), Shih’s principal goal is to increase ERRJ’s practical relevance while maintaining its academic rigor. The future of ERRJ seems incredibly promising and Shih would like to invite editors, reviewers, authors, and Springer Nature to be part of this exciting journey.
