Environmental and Ecological Statistics - Meet the Editors-in-Chief

Luiz Duczmal is a Full Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil). He received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. His main research interests are environmental statistics, spatial statistics, epidemiology, and optimization.

Daniela Cocchi holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Louvain la-Neuve (Belgium). She has been President of the Italian Statistical Society and of the International Environmetrics Society and is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute. Her principal research interests are survey sampling, environmental statistics, Bayesian statistics, and spatial statistics.
